It is through writing that I locate my truth. That I remember I am not just surviving-I am still becoming. This page holds my rage and my reverence. It is where I metabolize pain into insight, and silence into song. It is my protest, my prayer, my practice of freedom.

More than anything, writing is my way home to myself-and my offering to others who are trying to find their way too.
